My interest in fashion and glamour stems from a project I collaborated on with a fashion designer while living in Chicago in 1980. I have since created numerous series of drawings based on fashion and glamour.

This series of ten drawings explore the darker side of fashion and glamour by exposing the excesses inherent in that industry. I utilize the sewing machine, a unique tool, to “draw” line and because it reflects the way garments in the fashion industry are fabricated.
